1. Who We Are
LoyBooks is operated by LoyBooks Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We provide a service that automatically synchronises sales data from Loyverse POS into Zoho Books. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@loybooks.com.
2. What Data We Collect
To provide the sync service, we collect and process the following:
- Loyverse data — sales receipts, customers, items, and payments, accessed via your Loyverse Personal Access Token.
- Zoho Books data — invoices, contacts, items, payments, credit notes, and account settings, accessed via OAuth 2.0 with the permissions described in Section 3.
- Account information — your name and email address, used to manage your LoyBooks account.
- Billing information — handled securely by Stripe. LoyBooks never stores your card details.
3. Zoho Books Permissions (OAuth Scopes)
When you connect Zoho Books, you will be asked to grant LoyBooks the following permissions. We request only what is needed to run the sync.

You can revoke LoyBooks' access to Zoho Books at any time by visiting Zoho Accounts → Connected Apps and removing LoyBooks. Revoking access will stop the sync immediately.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your data solely to provide the sync service — moving sales records from Loyverse into Zoho Books on your behalf. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing purposes, or use it to train AI models.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Render infrastructure with encrypted connections (TLS). OAuth tokens and API credentials are stored in encrypted form and access is restricted to authorised systems only. We do not store your Zoho password — only the OAuth tokens you grant us.
6. Third-Party Services
LoyBooks integrates with Loyverse, Zoho Books, Stripe (billing), and Render (hosting). Your use of those services is governed by their respective privacy policies.
7. Data Retention
We retain your configuration and sync log data while your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data will be deleted within 30 days upon request. Contact us at hello@loybooks.com to request deletion.
8. Your Rights
Under applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@loybooks.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
